Post production 1 - Edits


I decided that I didn't want to mute the yellow tone of the words on the cover page because I visually like 

how the bright yellow pops out. I think it helps get the attention of the younger target audience I'm going 

for also. However I did center the byline, reposition the article titles and lower the number ten. I think it 

definitely helped make my cover look more professional and helped make it more clear. I'm very happy 

with how it looks and it is more visually pleasing. When it came to editing my feature article I didn't want 

to add any more pictures but instead more information about what was written. This is because a lot of 

what's covered in it is very important to a reader if they decide to use the information and I wanted to add 

more options. The added text definitely helped make the article look fuller but there was still a certain 

emptiness to it. To get rid of that I changed the background color of the article from a snow white to a 

warm tan, vanilla color. This helped because it did counter the articles emptiness and also helped the 

magazine look consistent because the cover and contents pages had a picture in the background and now 

the feature article has a color.
